It may cost $60,000 to train a post doctoral physician, epidemiologist or other scientist in the translational research we conduct. But, $100 dollars can pay for the testing of one participant in a research study examining human social function and the sense of smell. $500 would allow us to examine the brain structure of one participant in our Paternal Age Related Schizophrenia study. Inch by inch and yard by yard, each study brings us closer to the cure we seek.
